Volunteer
Our work depends on people who care about Louisiana’s waterways. Volunteers help us remove trash, restore waterways, and educate communities about protecting the bayou.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- boat-based cleanup missions
- shoreline litter removal
- sorting and hauling collected trash
- environmental education events
No experience is necessary—just a willingness to help. Volunteer With the Louisiana Bayou Society to protect the bayou. We work directly in Louisiana’s waterways to remove trash, restore water flow, and protect wildlife habitat. Our cleanup missions depend on volunteers who are willing to work in real environmental conditions—on boats, along shorelines, and in wetland environments.
If you care about Louisiana’s waterways, we welcome you to join us. Before participating in any cleanup mission, all volunteers must complete the registration and waiver form below.
